Two Wedding Weekend

This weekend is gonna be INSANE!

It all started yesterday. Sarah and I had planned on going to our friends Alysha & Edgar’s wedding ever since the had started planning it, so it wasn’t a surprise that I would have two weddings that weekend; One to photograph, and one to attend and have fun. I’ve been looking forward to both weddings. I love weddings. Well, yesterday Alysha’s photographer cancelled on her(apparently she was double booked,) leaving Alysha with no photographer 4 days before her wedding. So Now I’ll be shooting Alysha& Edgar’s wedding at the Casa Sirena Hotel in Oxnard on Saturday, and then Shooting Liz & Arnold’s wedding at the Royal Palace in Glendale.

It’s gonna be a fun weekend. Starting on Friday, we’re going to the rehearsal dinner. Usually I’ll have scouted out the location before the wedding week, for shots, and other information, but given such short notice it’s gotta be the night before. So we’re staying in the hotel in Channel Islands Harbor that night, so that we don’t have to drive back to the San Fernando Valley afterwards, and then drive back to Oxnard again on Saturday. So then we have the wedding to shoot on Saturday, Drive back to Canoga Park that night, and then Show up at Liz’s house in Tarzana at 9:00 am, take some “Getting Ready” Shots, go to MAC to get her make-up done at 11, and then Her family is coming over at 12:30 to get family portraits before the wedding ceremony at St. Athanasious, Greek Orthodox Church. Then straight over to the Royal Palace in glendale, for the reception.

After all of that I have a “Day After” shoot with Liz and Arnold on Monday evening around sunset…

So all in all, my weekend is going to be insane!
