Anthropologie and BHLDN

Nothing could make me happier right now about weddings than this: Anthropologie has finally entered into the wedding industry. What’s super exciting about this whole venture is that Sarah and I had an Anthropologie themed wedding even before BHILDN was even thought up.

Sarah lives and breathes Anthropologie. If there was one store you would bet $100 on her visiting at any given shopping center, it would be Anthropologie. The reasons behind this are obvious. The feel and atmosphere of their stores are incredible. They each have an authentic nature and appeal to your senses. The displays are visually captivating. The music that is played in the background makes you feel comfortable. The aroma of candles, and the touch of their fine fabrics all lend to an incredible, personalized experience. How could a girl walk into Anthropologie and not feel welcomed and get a sense of wonderment; like walking into that store has made her a better, more well-rounded human being? Now take all the years this wonderful establishment has put into this brand, and bottle it up into a wedding, and what do you have? BHLDN.

BHLDN is a Dutch word that means “to keep.” To me this semi elusive word contains so much meaning. BHLDN allows a bride to keep her wedding unique, individual, and hand-crafted to her discerning imagination. It alludes to the wedding vows “to have and to hold,” and to keeping the marriage sacred and placing it above any other relationship we hold dear. But more than just a word, BHLDN is different. Their approach to weddings in this chaotic industry is simple. It’s about a connection. It’s about starting a conversation and enjoying your wedding day.

We’ve built our wedding photography business along the same principles. We’re not just a wedding photography studio. We are here to make a difference. We’re here to take part in the best days of our client’s and friend’s lives. We are here for the conversation, the connection, and most importantly, to blow our client’s minds.
